Transport your audio streams to far away FM transmitters over satellite.

A Q9X-E Audio Encoder can produce a DVB-compliant transport stream for feeding into a satellite modulator. Audio can be ingested using RAVENNA / AES67, AES3 or analog XLR. RDS data can be transmitted embedded into the audio stream or in a private PID. UECP data can be ingested using RS232 as well as over IP.

At the transmitter sites, the Q9X-R Satellite Receiver allows combining the satellite stream with other sources for improved availability. As last resort, an audio file can be played out, to ensure there is no silence on the air.
